The Guiding Thread Basic Information
Using the Coning Tool Body to hold the tubing for threading, clamp in vise, and slide the threading tool over the tube through the guide bushing.
M18X2 UNF Thread Apply a medium weight, high sulphur cutting
oil to threading area.
Apply pressure to the top of the threading tool to start the cutting
action. The threads are left handed, so turn the threader counterclockwise to thread the tube. The
threading tool may need to be periodically rotated clockwise to break and discharge metal chips.
Apply lubricant freely during the threading process.
Note: The lead in chamfer (larger chamfer) on the dies flutes toward guide bushing.
Continue to rotate die holder counterclockwise while applying cutting oil generously throughout the process until threads of the following lengths have been cut. See number of turns required in Table , or length in Table.
After tube is coned, threaded and de burred,
check for proper thread fit and length with a new
collar of the proper size.
Note: Remember to flush all tubing prior to
installation with a fluid that is compatible with
the process fluid being used.

Very well balanced…meaning it holds its weight & then some. Strong magnetic grips hold objects in place ensuring a stable position for soldering. The LED lamp with its magnified lense provides for less strain on the eyes & neck area.
I has a lot of stuff. You don't need to have all of it located on the base plate when your using it. I found some of the stuff not necessary most of the time, so I just moved it to the side, and it made things easier. That said, I wouldn't want to be without those other parts for a different project. It is very study, and the magnets that hold things down, are rock solid. The clamp, with the small base looks like it might be a little unstable, but with that super magnet on the bottom, it is not moving anywhere. Like I said, rock solid.
This device works great to hold two pieces steady so that you can use your hands to work a soldering iron and solder. Probably has many other applications as well whenever you need a third hand. I bought the entire kit to have all the attachments that I might need but haven't used all the attachments yet. I noticed that the arm that holds a heat gun or some other larger object had difficulty standing upright. I contacted the company through Amazon and they responded very quickly, by the next day. As it turns out, the adjustment knob at the middle elbow needs to be tightened down snuggly for the arm to stiffen up and stand upright. Once it is tightened down, the device will hold its position in an infinite number of positions since they are ball and socket joints. Hope this helps with anyone wondering how the device works. The company was super quick to respond and were very nice about it. I have great confidence in their customer service and would easily buy from them again. The device is well made and the magnets are extremely strong neodymium magnets. The magnifying lens is high quality glass and even though it is listed as 3X, it seems stronger. Regardless, it is more than strong enough at 3X for doing intricate work. The LED light has multiple settings and allows 3 choices for the color and 10 choices for the intensity. It is quite bright and sufficient for just about any job. Overall, very happy with the product and with the supplier. The product does everything as advertised.
